The members of the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Sunday visited Judea and Samaria, which has been targeted by terrorist attacks in the latest wave which began on the eve of Rosh Hashanah.

Committee chairman MK Avi Dichter (Likud) and MKs Omer Bar-Lev (Zionist Union), Ofer Shelah (Yesh Atid), Motti Yogev (Jewish Home), Menachem Moses (United Torah Judaism), Shelly Yechimovich (Zionist Union), and Merav Michaeli (Zionist Union) were briefed on the preparations of the IDF’s Central Command in the wake of the terror threat.

MK Yogev, who also chairs the Subcommittee for Judea and Samaria, told Arutz Sheva following the tour, “I express my appreciation to the security forces who work night and day and act judiciously and with great dedication in fighting terrorism and keeping the citizens of Israel safe.”

“We, as the political echelon, must assist them in utilizing legal deterrence capabilities, such as demolition of terrorists' homes and the demolition of buildings used for weapons manufacturing," added Yogev.
