The terrorist who murdered a two French police officers Tuesday morning broadcast his attack live on Facebook.

During the broadcast, the murderer - identified as 25-year-old Larossi Abballa - said that he does not know what to do with the three-year-old child after killing his parents. The terrorist's Facebook page has been taken down by the site.

The terrorist ambushed a police commander who was returning home and stabbed him numerous times with a knife. Afterwards, he broke into the home and took his wife - who was also a police officer - and child hostage.

Following a short attempt at negotiating, members of the anti-terror unit burst into the apartment and shot the terrorist dead. The wife's body and the still-living son were inside.

Before being killed, the terrorist declared his loyalty to ISIS.

President François Hollande has called an emergency meeting in response to the incident.

It has since been revealed that the murderer had been on a French terrorist watchlist, and had been previously jailed for terror offenses. In 2013 he was sentenced for recruiting jihadists to fight in Pakistan, and was released after serving two and a half years.

Two other people linked to Abballa have been arrested.

Police say they found a list of six individuals the terrorist had been planning to murder on is computer, including two public personalities, according to French media.
