The rabbi spoke about the history of his synagogue, noting that it is a center for Jewish life in the Upper East Side.

In time for the Israel Day events the community hosted delegations of Israeli mayors, MKs and members of the World Zionist Organization leadership.

Rabbi Abadie emphasized that it is a Jewish prerogative to promote the integrity of the land of Israel and Jewish sovereignty over the land.
