'As a Jew I back the integrity of all Israel'

Rabbi Abadie of Safra Synagogue explains why his community is hosting Israeli mayors, MKs and Zionist leaders.

Rabbi Elie Abadie, the rabbi of Congregation Edmond J. Safra at 11 East 63rd Street in Manhattan, spoke to Arutz Sheva at the Israel Day event on Sunday. His comments can be seen at 8:26 in the video below.

The rabbi spoke about the history of his synagogue, noting that it is a center for Jewish life in the Upper East Side.

In time for the Israel Day events the community hosted delegations of Israeli mayors, MKs and members of the World Zionist Organization leadership.

Rabbi Abadie emphasized that it is a Jewish prerogative to promote the integrity of the land of Israel and Jewish sovereignty over the land.
