Arutz Sheva was on hand in New York to cover Young Israel of Jamaica Estates' 15th annual L'Chaim 5K Run for Israel, and to witness an outpouring of support for the Jewish state.

As of this year the annual run has raised a total of $1 million for Israel over the years, with the money being donated to humanitarian needs, terror victims, communities in Judea and Samaria, and evacuees of Gush Katif.

This year the funds are going for an ambucycle for United Hatzalah, as well as other important causes such as the OneFamily Fund for terror victims.

In order to learn more Arutz Sheva spoke with participants and organizers, including Assemblyman David Weprin.
