Skies will remain cloudy to partly cloudy Monday, though a rise in temperatures is expected ahead.

Highs Monday will reach 23°C (73.4°F)  in Jerusalem; 25°C (77°F) in Tel Aviv; 25°C (77°F) in Haifa; 27°C (80.6°F) in the Golan Heights; 26°C (78.8°F) in the Coastal area; 33°C (91.4°F) in the Dead Sea area; 30°C (86°F) in Be'er Sheva; 32°C (89.6°F) in Mitzpe Ramon; and 36°C (96.8°F) in Eilat.  

Forecasters predict pleasant weather for the remainder of the week, with conditions ideal for outdoor activities. 

Temperatures will rise on Thursday, Israel's Independence Day - just in time for the nation to flock to Israel's beaches. 

Summer weather returns over the weekend, with a noticeable rise in temperatures beyond the seasonal average.
