Tuesday saw heat wave conditions sweep over Israel, but Wednesday is to offer a reprieve from the scorching heat as temperatures drop considerably, amid partially cloudy weather.

After the highs on Tuesday which soared closed to 40° C (104° F) in the coastal region, Wednesday's temperatures are to be around seasonal norms, as the heat wave breaks over the course of the day.

At the same time, humidity is to rise on Wednesday and there are to be strong winds, with a possibility of light fog and rain in certain areas in the morning hours.

The temperatures on Wednesday are predicted to be 25° C (77° F) in Katzrin, 23° C (73° F) in Tzfat (Safed), 30° C (86° F) in Tiberias, 24° C (75° F) in Haifa and Tel Aviv, 25° C in Jerusalem, 29° C (84° F) in Be'er Sheva, and 34° C (93° F) in Eilat.

Then on Thursday, the weather is to remain partially cloudy and pleasant, and the temperatures will drop even further.

Similar weather conditions are to return on Friday with a slight rise in temperatures, and on Shabbat the partially cloudy and pleasant weather will continue, with an additional rise in temperatures to slightly above seasonal norms.
