Wednesday proved to be a rainy day, with showers sprinkling over most of Israel accompanied by lone thunderstorms.

There remain concerns in place over flooding in rivers in the south and east of the country, as the heavy rains raise water levels.

Following on the warmth of last weekend, the downturn in temperatures is continuing on Wednesday with the temperature remaining below seasonal norms.

Then on Wednesday night the rains are to weaken gradually, even though the flood warnings remain in effect.

Thursday is to be partially cloudy with a slight rise in temperatures, but in the afternoon hours local rains are anticipated from the north of the country down to the Negev.

The increase in temperatures is to continue on Friday, which is expected to be partially cloudy and pleasant.

Then on Shabbat the weather is to remain pleasant with an additional rise in temperatures, to the point that they are once again predicted to get above seasonal norms.
