Five Jewish youths, including four minors, were indicted on Thursday in Jerusalem on charges of racially motivated aggravated assault.

The gang consisted of one 19-year-old and four 17-year-olds.

According to indictment, one week ago at around 7 a.m., the five decided to seek out an Arab target for random acts of violence.

The gang, which was walking through downtown Jerusalem, found two municipal workers cleaning the Gan HaPa’amon garden.

When they discovered that one of the workers was Arab, the group began to curse him and Muhammed, telling the man “your Muhammed is a pig” and “Muhammed’s dead”.

The man asked the youths why they had singled him out for harassment.

“What did I do to you? Why are you cursing?”

The gang renewed their curses before shoving the man to the ground. They then proceeded to beat and kick him all over his body.

The Arab man’s Jewish coworker attempted to intervene, telling the gang he and the other worker were only there to clean the garden, and warning them there were security cameras in the area.

Despite his coworker’s attempts, the Arab man was beaten for several minutes straight. One of the young men also stole the Arab worker’s cellular phone.
