Arutz Sheva's editorial board has decided not to air footage of the brutal terrorist attack last Thursday night which left a security guard fighting for his life.
48-year-old Tzvika Cohen was hacked repeatedly by an ax-wielding Arab at around 1:15 a.m. on Friday morning, leaving him in critical condition.
On Sunday morning police announced they had arrested his attacker, 21-year-old Saadi Ali Abu Hamad, a resident of the Arab village of Eizariya near Jerusalem.
CCTV footage of the incident was released and has been widely circulated, showing Cohen being brutally attacked and trying in vain to defend himself. Despite being employed as a security guard at the mall where he was attacked he was unarmed.
The father of four is currently fighting for life at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, where doctors warn his condition is still life-threatening.
Due to the disturbing nature of the video, Arutz Sheva has taken the decision not to publicize it.
His family have requested the public to pray for Tzvika ben Batya.
