Haredi soldiers of the Netzah Yehuda battalion prevented five terror attacks during the month of December. The attacks included three attempted ramming attacks and two attempted stabbing attacks. The stabbing attacks occurred just outside the Jewish town of Ofra.

Soldiers also neutralized another five terrorists who were actively disturbing the peace that occurred in their district. Three of these terrorists were involved in attempted ramming attacks at the same location, all of which took place with one week of each other.

During the first attacked one of the soldiers in the battalion was moderately wounded. As a result the battalion tightened up their security precautions and regulations. Due to the increased security precautions and awareness, the next two attempts, which occurred on consecutive Fridays at the same location, were prevented.

Rabbi Yaron David, one of the head Rabbis of the Nahal Haredi Unit praised the soldiers' actions.

“In the last month, with God’s help, soldiers from the Nahal Haredi unit stood strong in front of the challenges that they faced. With decisive action, preparation, and a sense of duty to carry out their mission. The neutralization of these attacks, emphasizes the importance of the mission that is in front of us.”
