Judy Shalom Nir-Mozes, the wife of Interior Minister Silvan Shalom (Likud), has responded to MK Zehava Gal-on's (Meretz) call for her to be investigated on the grounds of "threatening her husband's accuser and disrupting the investigation process."

Mozes wrote on her Twitter account, "If only I was a terrorist - she would love me."

Earlier, Mozes compared her husband to police Superintendent Ephraim Bracha, who killed himself after an extended media campaign against him. At the time, she wrote: "The studios are eager to blame someone, to step on him and to tear apart his family. Wow. Every night I think about Efi Bracha."

This morning MK Shelly Yachimovich (Zionist Union) called on Silvan Shalom to suspend himself. "It wasn't easy for me to comment on the issue, but I decided that it's enough. That my obligation is not to those who are in a similar position to me, but rather to those whose faces are not known. Until things become clear, Minister Silvan Shalom must, at least, suspend himself. And the Attorney General must come to grips with it."
