The family of slain IDF soldier Hadar Goldin has joined the family of fellow soldier Oron Shaul in calling on Hamas to release their bodies on Sunday, following an emotional press conference with Shaul's mother, Zahava.

"The Shaul family and we have been waiting a year and a half for our sons to return home, and Hamas is creating psychological manipulations to break our spirits," the Goldin family stated Sunday night.

"It's time that the State of Israel not fall back on the patterns of the past, present an offensive stance against Hamas and set the price for which Hamas will pay for abducting soldiers."

"The State cannot do any humanitarian gesture or the like for the residents of Gaza until they return Hadar and Oron," they added.

Hamas rejected the Shauls' calls to strike a deal with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu earlier Sunday, stating it would only release information about the two soldiers in exchange for the release of terrorists who were rearrested after the abductions and murders of three Israeli teens in summer 2014.
