Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon appeared Monday morning before the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, and began his comments by talking about the current terror wave.

"This is terrorism by lone attackers," he said, noting that behind the attacks lies a vast network of incitement and support from terrorist groups.

"There are days with more terror attacks and days with less attacks, but the terror wave is not stopping or fizzling out."

"We are taking all steps and using all the tools in our possession in order to bring an end to the wave," Ya'alon added. "In that sense, the IDF is poised to continue to tact to stop the wave, but also poised to head off an escalation."

"On the other borders, whether in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon or Sinai – overall, the peace is being kept," he stated.

Five days ago, it was reported that since the terror wave began, MDA has treated and evacuated to hospitals nationwide no less than 225 injured terror victims, who were wounded to varying degrees.

Starting with the murder of Alexander Levlovich in mid-September on the Jewish New Year by Arab rock-throwing terrorists in Jerusalem's Armon Hanatziv, the number of those murdered in the attacks stands at 22 victims.
