Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked (Jewish Home) arrived for a condolence visit to the home of Rabbi Eitam and Naama Henkin on Sunday morning, shortly after the shiva (mourning period) moved to the Henkins' hometown of Neria.

Shaked told the family that Rabbi Eitam saved the children with his actions during the attack.

As Rabbi Eitam tried to escape, she said, he caused the terrorists to become confused, leading to the friendly fire which spared the children's lives during the attack.

Shaked further promised to promote the demolition of terrorists' homes, including the murderers of the Fogel family. Measures will include obtaining the necessary legal permits; the demolition is scheduled to be carried out within the next several weeks.

Last week, security forces resumed demolishing terrorists' homes, after nearly a year of legal stalling.

The three homes demolished, or sealed, included the homes of the perpetrators of the biggest terror attacks of 2014 - including one of the Har Nof shooters', the assassin who tried to kill Temple Mount prayer rights advocate Yehuda Glick, and the tractor driver who slammed into a Jerusalem bus.
