Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will upon landing back in Israel convene an urgent meeting at the Kirya in Tel Aviv on Sunday.

Netanyahu and top officials, including Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon, IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkott and Israel Security Agency chief Yoram Cohen, will discuss the serious deterioration of the security situation.

Prior to his takeoff from New York, Netanyahu attacked Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah party, blasting them for calling the terrorist who carried out the stabbing attack in the Old City of Jerusalem a "hero."

Rabbi Nehemia Lavi, 41, and Aharon Banita Bennett, 21, were both murdered as a result of Saturday’s terrorist attack. Bennett's wife, Adelle Banita, 22, and their two-year-old son were also injured.

According to Netanyahu, Fatah's praise for the attack is further proof of the PA 'obvious' support of terrorism.

"Behold the 'moderates' of the Palestinian Authority and [our] alleged peace partner," the Prime Minister charged. "I am now on my way to Israel and when I arrive I will head immediately to the Kirya to meet with top security officials to adjudicate a harsh response to Palestinian Islamic terrorism."

"We are waging a bitter war against terror - and we will do so vigorously," Netanyahu vowed.

The Islamic Jihad terrorist group in Gaza took credit for Saturday's attack, which was conducted by 19-year-old Mohannad Shafik Halabi.
