Republican councilor Bruce Blakeman of Long Island told Arutz Sheva that Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee is his pick for the upcoming 2016 elections, and explained why.

Speaking at a support event of Jewish activists for Huckabee held earlier this week at the New York home of Dr. Joseph Frager, Blakeman began by condemning the Iran nuclear deal.

The former presiding officer of the Nassau County Legislature and ex-head of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey went on to say that former Arkansas governor Huckabee "is a very strong supporter of Israel and beloved by the Jewish people, not only here in the United States but around the world."
