The Jerusalem District Attorney has filed an indictment against the terrorist responsible for mowing down four policemen in Jerusalem on Sunday, three weeks after he plowed a car into the officers on duty.

Fadi Saleh, 31, is charged with attempted murder and obstruction of justice in the April 25 attack

According to the indictment, while Saleh worked as a driver, he formed in his heart the decision to carry out a murderous terrorist attack against Israeli security forces, to retaliate against attempts to equalize prayer rights for Jews on the Temple Mount and against IDF soldiers monitoring checkpoints in Judea-Samaria.

Several weeks ago, he carried out the attack after he noticed nine Border Police officers standing on the sidewalk in the A-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem.

Before the attack, Salah removed the license plates from his car to make it more difficult to detect, hit the gas, and then mowed down as many people as possible while shouting "Allahu Akhbar."

Four policemen were wounded and evacuated to hospital with bruises and pelvis injuries.
