This year's Passover demonstrated more than ever before how widespread anti-Semitic attitudes have become internationally as hate incidents targeting Jews occurred all over the world this past week.

Late last Wednesday, vandals armed with air guns attacked a synagogue under construction in Arkhangelsk, Russia. The damage to the synagogue was discovered Thursday.

According to local reports, the perpetrators fired their air rifles at the synagogue, smashed nine windows, and graffitied anti-Semitic inscriptions on the building.

Meanwhile in Helsinki, Finland on Thursday, the posters of Jewish MP Ben Zyskowicz were vandalized with swastikas.

Zyskowicz, a member of the National Coalition Party, is currently running in Finland's general election. He is the first person of Jewish descent to ever be elected into Finnish parliament.

Finally, worshippers of the Shaare Torah Synagogue in Maryland were shocked to discover swastikas and other anti-Semitic graffiti sprayed on the wall of their synagogue last week.

Watch: Masked vandal desecrates Maryland synagogue:

The vandalism at Shaare Torah, a Conservative synagogue in Gaithersburg, MD, occurred early on Tuesday during the intermediate days of Passover.

According to worshippers, no fewer than 11 swastikas were spray painted on the walls of the synagogue and a nearby Jewish kindergarten.

In addition to the Nazi Symbol, the word "Hitler" and the letters "KKK" were also written on the walls, suggesting the act had been committed by someone associated with the Ku Klux Klan or another white supremacist group.

Video footage of the incident, released by police to media, shows the perpetrator wearing a mask. The local Jewish community has asked for the public's help in identifying the vandal.
