Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has repeatedly claimed he has no intention of forming a unity government with the Labor-Hatnua list's co-leaders Yitzhak Herzog and Tzipi Livni.

In two interviews with haredi radio stations "Kol-Barama" and "Kol Hai" on Friday, Netanyahu reiterated that there was no chance of a unity government.

However, despite arguing that there is a "deep ideological rift" between himself and Labor, on Sunday morning, after a broadcast of the "Kol Hai" interview, Labor MK Shelly Yechimovich revealed she had been Netanyahu's first call after the 2013 elections.

Yechimovich said: "Do you know who Netanyahu called first after being elected prime minister in the previous elections? Me, when I was head of the Labor party. And do you know the first party that joined his coalition and signed an agreement? Hatnua led by Tzipi Livni."

The former Labor head responding to questions of whether Herzog could lead a coalition comprised of haredi parties, as well as Netanyahu's personal attacks on Labor-Hatnua, and Livni in particular.

According to Yechimovich, it would be natural for the haredi parties to recommend Herzog, calling it "the right thing to do."

"When it comes to ordinary people who get up every morning to go to work, come back in the evening, work very hard and earn very little - people who want a little sanity in this country, moderation and solidarity - the right thing to do is vote for the Zionist Camp," she added, using the joint list's official name.

"How is it possible? How can a leader abuse incessantly and still his constituents come and vote for him again and again?" Yechimovich continued, attacking Netanyahu.

"This insight has been penetrated. People understand that he's not counting them. He doesn't count regular people. He lives in a different sphere, with a different way of life that is not related to ordinary people."

"I promise this will be a government that doesn't abuse its people, unlike the Netanyahu government which abused in every way possible. This will be a government that will always attempt reconciliation and dialogue."
