A new music video captures the palpable feeling of unity among the Jewish people in Israel and abroad, a feeling that grew in the tragedy of the abduction and murder of the three Israeli teens, and which has swelled in the current counter-terror operation in Gaza.

David Green, a musician and film-maker living in Israel, created the video for his song "Like A Brother," which expresses the solidarity of the Jewish nation both in words and in pictures from the dramatic events unfolding in Israel.

"We have seen such a beautiful rise in Jewish unity since the kidnappings and through the war in Gaza.  But we shouldn't need to be brought closer together only when our enemies are trying to destroy us. The more we unite, the more protection we will have from our enemies," wrote Green.

The lyrics include "Gonna make it through this stormy weather/ I know that something higher’s holding us together/ one family, made to last forever/ just hold tight it’ll be alright."

The murder of Naftali Frenkel (16), Eyal Yifrah (19) and Gilad Sha'ar (16) on June 12 by Hamas terrorists has evoked numerous outpourings of unity in rallies and other formats.

As Hamas launched a terror war of rockets and terror tunnels on Israel last month, that unity has found continued expression, including in a recent song by British Jewish singers in tribute to the fallen IDF soldiers.
