A construction worker was extracted from the upper floor of an apartment building in Houston at the last second this week, after a fire broke out in the not-yet-completed building.  Employees from a nearby building caught the entire scene on video, in what they say is a movie-like catastrophe.

The construction worker fled to a balcony of the building, which was undergoing renovations valuing over 50 million dollars, according to Channel 10 News. Just as the firefighters managed to reach him, the building dramatically collapsed.

No injuries were reported from the massive fire, though an estimated 396 units were damaged from the ordeal. Houston residents reported that the fire was visible across the city.
