YouTube has blocked a video posted by Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), which reveals the terrorist incitement by Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah faction.
The Hebrew-subtitled PMW video exposing the propaganda was ostensibly blocked for "promoting murder."
However, the original Arabic propaganda video on Fatah's channel was not blocked by YouTube. PMW documents and exposes hate speech, in no way endorsing it.
On November 17, the propaganda video advocating attacks on Israel was posted on Fatah's official Facebook page which has frequently glorified terror. PMW's English translation can be seen here:
The video, made by Fatah's Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades military wing, features a song with such memorable lines as "detonate your revolution of rage in their midst," and "be like Yasser [Arafat] - do not fear them, death is in your cup - make them drink!"
In November a Fatah official, in a video similarly exposed by PMW, said former PA Chairman Arafat taught "all liberation movements in the world" that Israel is the "prime enemy...of all nations in the world."
In the recent propaganda video a terrorist is seen showing rockets developed by the Fatah branch, bragging they can "reach the Zionist depth (Israel)." Confusingly, the terrorist says the rockets can reach far into "occupied Palestinian territories," striking Israel "on its own ground."
"With these rockets we will liberate our Jerusalem," claims the terrorist in the video.
Additionally, the terrorist says "we are preparing to kidnap Zionist soldiers to settle accounts with the Zionist enemy properly, in order to empty out the Zionist prisons." His words hint to the approach employed by Hamas in kidnapping Gilad Shalit and having over 1,000 terrorists released in exchange.
Hamas and Fatah recently were reported to have sealed a "unity deal," which would have them create a joint government in upcoming elections. In November, Hamas called on Fatah to "prepare for war" against Israel.
In 2010, PMW had its YouTube account similarly closed for "propagating hate speech" when it revealed the incitement of terrorist organizations. Later the account was unblocked following a mail campaign.
