An Egged bus and an Arab vehicle collided Wednesday south of Jerusalem, wounding at least 22 passengers. The accident occurred just north of the Judean town of Kiryat Arba, next to Hevron.
Two Palestinian Authority Arabs were in critical condition, and were evacuated from the scene by a Red Crescent team.
Magan David Adom staff assisted 20 others who suffered from light injuries. Some were transferred to a hospital in Jerusalem.
The accident took place on a section of the road that is known as a difficult and convoluted route, which requires drivers to be highly alert.
Not far from the scene of the accident, on Tuesday night, twelve Molotov cocktails were lobbed at IDF forces in the Gush Etzion region.
Seven of the Molotov cocktails were thrown at IDF forces near the village of El Arub, and five were thrown at IDF forces near El-Khader.
No casualties were reported; the IDF combed the area for suspects.
