Three young men died Thursday morning in an accident at a fish farm in northern Israel. The victims were electrocuted while doing repair work near a pond.

The names of the three have been released for publication. They are Nir Glasman, 23, of Kibbutz Afikim; Uriel Buchris, 22, of Kibbutz Merav, and Gideon Raz of Maagan Michael, also in his 20s.

The victims were found unconscious. Paramedics attempted to revive them, but were ultimately forced to declare their deaths at the scene.

Earlier this week a young man suffered moderate injuries when he was electrocuted in an accident at an events hall in southern Israel.

A female foreign worker died of electrocution in an accident in Jerusalem in late 2012.
