Climate change and the ecological crisis are threatening our world. The solutions to these problems require that we, as the inhabitants of the earth, take into account the well-being of future generations. Is this expectation consistent with human nature? And if so, what do we need to do now?

These are the questions that Ertharin Cousin, Executive Director of the United Nations World Food Program, tried to answer at the President's Conference in Jerusalem.

She also gave an exclusive interview to Arutz Sheva.

Cousin served as the United States Ambassador to the United Nations Agencies for Food and Agriculture, Head of the US Mission to the UN Agencies in Rome, and President of the International Development Law Organization’s Assembly of Parties.
