Doctors’ Strike Continues
Labor Court approves continuation of the strike. Hospitals working in Sabbath mode.

After a protracted session, the National Labor Court granted permission early Monday morning to the medical doctors to continue their strike.
The Court found the strike to be legal and rejected the Finance Ministry’s request that it order the doctors to return to work.
Today – Monday, July 25 – there will be a general strike in hospitals, and they will work in Sabbath mode. Operating rooms, emergency rooms, ICU wards, dialysis units and preemie wards will work as usual.
Outpatient clinics and day clinics will be closed.
Oncological treatments that started before the strike will continue.
On Tuesday, only urgent operations and oncological ones will be performed. Outpatient clinics and day clinics will work as usual.
On Wednesday, outpatient clinics and day clinics will only be available to inpatients. Operating rooms and inpatient services will all function as usual.
On Thursday, only urgent operations and oncological ones will be performed. Outpatient clinics and day clinics will work as usual.
