(IsraelNN.com) MK Yuval Shteinitz, chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, called the far-left Yesh Gvul a "criminal" and "anti-Israel" organization. He further called upon the attorney general to charge the Yesh Gvul leaders and to outlaw the organization altogether.
His statements, made during today's Knesset session, came in the wake of human rights charges filed by Yesh Gvul in foreign courts against IDF generals. Most recently, an IDF general was forced to flee England to avoid arrest by local authorities based on the Yesh Gvul-instigated charges filed against him in the UK.
