(IsraelNN.com) Deputy Minister Gila Gamliel announced today that she supports the proposal of former Finance Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to move up Likud primaries.

"As the prime minister is not declaring his commitment to remain in the Likud and to respect decisions of the Central Committee, there is no alternative but to move up the primaries," MK Gamliel said.

In a television interview last night, MK Gamliel noted that she consistently voted in accordance with the Likud party platform and with the decisions of the party legislative bodies. She implied, thereby, that Prime Minister Sharon was often in violation of the Likud party's publicly declared positions.
