El Al lost $140 million dollars in first quarter of the year

El Al Airlines has submitted its first quarter reports that detail losses of $140 million. The company noted steps it had taken in coping with the crisis but indicated that the scope of aid needed to resume flight service has not yet been determined.

El Al has been shut down since March except for rescue flights of Israelis stranded abroad.
