Aladdin Project Wins ADL's Daniel Pearl Award

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has awarded its prestigious “Daniel Pearl Award” to “The Aladdin Project” for what the ADL has termed “its groundbreaking work in promoting greater mutual understanding among peoples of different cultures and religions and for fostering a greater understanding between Jews and Muslims.”

President of “The Aladdin Project”, Ms. Anne-Marie Revcolevschi, accepted the award on behalf of her organization at the ADL’s annual meeting in Los Angeles several days ago.

The award was established in 2003 in commemoration of Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal reporter who was kidnapped and murdered in Pakistan in 2002 as he was doing a story on international terrorism. The recipient of the award is a person or organization that has made a positive impact on image of Jews and Judaism in jouranalism politics, diplomacy and other arenas.
