Kerem Shalom Crossing Opens Today

The Kerem Shalom Crossing was opened this morning (Sunday) after being closed for three days due to the Jewish Rosh Hashanah holiday and Shabbat, reports Palestinian news agency Ma'an. According to a Gaza spokesperson, 380 truckloads of goods were sent through.

The shipment consisted of 32 truckloads of humanitarian aid, 24 of animal feed, 45 of goods for the agricultural sector, one truckload of equipment for Gaza's power authority, and two truckloads designated for the water authorities. There were also 65 trucksloads of gravel and 13 of cement which were allowed for the projects sponsored by UNWRA (UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East).
