Police officers received a call to the 100 emergency line notifying them of a baby locked in a car in the community of Elad. The officers rushed to the location, saw a small child in the car flushed and sweating, and proceeded to smash the windshield and thereby rescue the toddler.
Although the child was not in need of any medical treatment, because the parents could not be located at that moment, the officers took him to the police station. A short while later, the father appeared at the police station to claim his baby.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
