A-G Weinstein: No Validity into 'Bibitours' Allegations

Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein announced tonight (Thursday) that at the end of the probe into the "Bibitours" allegations that “after reviewing all the assembled material, we find there is no reason to suspect any criminal activities on the part of Prime Minister Netanyahu.”

It may be recalled that at the end of 2012 State Comptroller Yosef Shapira submitted a draft report on the overseas travels of 30 officials who served as ministers and deputy ministers between 2003 and 2011, among them Netanyahu, who had served as Finance Minister between 2003 to 2005.

According to an ‘expose’ at the time by Channel 10, there was a question as to whether Mr. Netanyahu had had flights abroad funded by outside interests without the approval of the Knesset Ethics Committee
