Postal Workers Continue to Up the Ante: Sunday, Be'er Sheva

This coming Sunday morning, September 7, the post offices in Be'er Sheva will be included as part of the daily escalation of the strike.  All branches in the southern city will be closed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.  This is in addition to the continued strike of the mobile postal service, excepting those communities bordering Gaza.

Chairman of the Postal Workers Committee, Shimon Farjun, said, "We call upon the Minister of Finance and the (Israel Post) Company's management to put an end to this damaging action to the public and to the public employees and enter negotiations to save the company, and to prevent the loss of 1,500 jobs."
