A 50-year-old mother of three from central Israel paid NIS 46.60 to submit her form with her numbers to the Lotto people for this past Tuesday's drawing. When she came into work and checked the numbers against the form, she saw that she was the sole winner. "I could barely hide my excitement from my co-workers," she said.
"The first thing I did was call my husband and arrange to meet him at the Mifal Hapayis within the hour," she said. "We got there and went to the department where you claim your winnings," she continued.
"Today has to be the happiest day of my life - we won the Lotto, and we also got the news of the ceasefire. Nobody could be happier than I am."
