Liberia: Armed Men Loot Ebola Clinic, Patients Escape

Armed men broke into the ebola clinic located in the West Point neighborhood of Monrovia, Liberia, looting  facilities and permitting patients to escape. In a report  by assistant Health Minister Tolbert Nyenswah to AFP, it was said that the attack was led by residents who were angry that ebola patients from other parts of Monrovia were being brought into the holding facility.

At the time of the attack, 29 of the patients escaped, and it is feared this will result in the further spread of the deadly virus.
