This coming March 25 Macabbi Haifa is set to host a game played against the World Cup Championship team from Germany. The game will be the first official international game in their new Sammy Ofer Stadium. The new stadium boasts 1,500 parking spaces and 30,000 seats, as well as a playing field, totaling a 20-dunam (approximately 5 acres) area.
Having left their Kiryat Eliezer Stadium, the Macabbi Haifa team will inaugurate the new field in a game for the Toto Cup to be played against the Bnei Sakhnin team. But the upcoming game against Germany will kick off their first game on the international playing field.
