Report: Germany Eavesdropped on Kerry and Clinton

The German intelligence agency allegedly eavesdropped on phone conversations of Secretary of State John Kerry, as well as his predecessor, Hillary Clinton, according to a report in the German weekly magazine, Der Spiegel.

According to the report, German intelligence recorded several conversations by John Kerry, this taking place after their having recorded conversations between Hillary Clinton and the previous Secretary-General of the UN, Kofi Annan back in 2013. Though the magazine would not reveal its sources, it did say that because the three officials weren't under direct scrutiny at the time, the recordings may have been made 'in error'.
