US to Transfer 180M Dollars in Aid to Southern Sudan

The United States will allocate a sum of roughly 180 million dollars for purchasing food products for the residents of southern Sudan, out of fear that a famine has spread through the country, a statement from the White House announced on Tuesday.

“The residents of southern Sudan are suffering since the country’s leaders are not succeeding in placing the nations’ interests at the top of the priority list,” US National Security Advisor, Susan Rice, proclaimed.
