Iraqi Army: Aid Chopper Crashed in the North

A spokesperson for the Iraqi army said that one of the country’s aid helicopters making its way to the north of the country, crashed. No information regarding casualties was reported.

Tens of thousands of Yazids fled their homes in northern Iraq after IS (Islamic State) militants infiltrated the region, as they were told they would be killed if they did not convert to Islam. Iraq’s army, as well as America’s and their allies’, are transporting aid into the region.
