Hamas Threatens Resumption of Rocket Fire Unless Demands are Met

Abu Obadiya, spokesman for the Izz A-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing, announced tonight (Thursday) that the terrorists will resume firing rockets if "Israel will not agree in principle to the establishment of a port in Gaza." At 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning (Friday), the 72-hour ceasefire that has been in effect is scheduled to end. Diplomatic sources in Jerusalem have stated that if Hamas resumes firing rockets at Israeli communities, it will be met with a harsh response.

“We are ready to resume fighting and to turn the IDF’s tanks into toys,” Abu Obadiya said. “We will cause thousands to die and take hundreds as prisoners if our demands are not met,” he added.
