Aussie-British Delegation in Israel

Dozens of parliament members, journalists, and other senior officials from the Australian and British governments have arrived in Israel to take part in the Australia-Israel-UK Leadership Dialogue, an initiative led by businessman and musician Albert Dadon for the past five years, which seeks to promote ties between the three countries.

This senior delegation, led by Australian Education Minister Christopher Pyne, will travel throughout the country for four days, including a visit and briefing in the Knesset with various ministers and Members of Knesset, a tour of Jerusalem, the Technion, Elbit Systems, and one of the Iron Dome missile interceptors deployed throughout the country. Having been welcomed by Australian Ambassador Dave Sharma, the delegation is scheduled to be briefed, Sunday evening, by Interior Minister Gideon Sa’ar and Opposition leader Yitzhak Herzog.
