Authorities arrested 12 Arabs on charges of attacking police and disorderly conduct, Thursday evening, following disturbances at gates to the Old City and at other locations. In some cases, the Arabs tried to break through police barricades. No injuries were reported. Police used riot-control measures to break up the disorders.
The disturbances were reported at the Damascus, Flower and Majlis Gates, as well as streets named after Ben-Adia, Motta Gur and Salah Ad-Din.
