Jihad: Attacks on All Israeli Cities an Accompishment

Islamic Jihad leader Ramadan Shallah said, Monday, that the current fighting in Gaza marked the first time in the history of the Arab nation that all the cities of the "occupation" have been attacked and if Israel gambles on deepening its military activity there, it will incur heavy losses. Interviewed by Hezbollah's Al-Mayadeen television, he said the end of the campaign will be determined by the performance of the fighters in the field, and if Israel's "aggression" doesn't stop, the Gaza powder keg will become the fire that kindles the whole region. He stressed that the military capabilities of Gaza Arabs is much bigger than Israeli appraisals, adding that a new generation is fighting, determined to meet its goals and not afraid of Israel.

Shallah noted that there was no real effort to achieve a ceasefire, adding that the end of the blockade on Gaza and the opening of border crossings was a minimum demand.
