Paris: Police Ban Pro-Palestinian March

The police in Paris forbade on Wednesday for a pro-Palestinian, anti-Operation Protective Edge march to take place, due to the violence that erupted at Sunday’s demonstration, where some of the protestors clashed with police officers and attempted to break into a synagogue.

A source within the police department explained that the decision stemmed from “A heightened risk for public disorderly conduct.”
