Der'i: Respond Sharply to First Cease-Fire Violation

Chairman Aryeh Der'i of the Sephardic-hareidi Shas party responded to Tuesday morning's diplomatic-security cabinet's acceptance of a truce with Gaza terrorists by saying, "Throughout the Protective Edge campaign, the Shas movement gave full backing to the prime minister in his war against terror. We now demand that the prime minister decide that the state of Israel will carry out all plans to eliminate terror in Gaza immediately with the first violation of the cease fire."

Der'i continued, "The government of Israel must not be silent, and it must already respond strongly to the first salvo [aimed] at Israeli cities."
