Saudis pledge $53.3 Million in aid for Gaza

Saudi Arabia pledged 200 million riyals ($53.3 million), Sunday, in humanitarian aid for the victims of the Israeli counter-terror campaign against Hamas and its allies, which has killed more than 170 people in Gaza, according to Agence France Presse.

The funds will pay for medicine and medical equipment to treat what Finance Minister Ibrahim al-Assaf called, "victims of the brutal Israeli aggression and bombing of the Gaza Strip," late Sunday. The aid will be channeled through the Palestinian Authority Red Crescent, Assaf said
in a statement carried by the SPA state news agency.
