State Fighting Early Parole of 2 Terrorists

Southern District prosecutors filed an appeal in the Be'er Sheva' District Court, Sunday, against a Parole Board decision to release Hamas terrorist Dabour Faras and Fatah terrorist Sami Abu-Hamada, who were serving 15-year sentences and were not scheduled to be free until 2018. The prosecutor also sought to hold up the release until the end of the appeal.

Faras was convicted of shooting at soldiers, attempted murder and theft. Abu-Hamada was convicted on charges of possessing an explosive and placing it, as well as attempted murder.
