World Bnei Akiva Leader Apologizes for Revenge Post

Secretary-General No'am Perel of the World Bnei Akiva religious youth movement apologized, Sunday evening, for a Facebook posting last week, following the discovery of the bodies of Naftali Frenkel, Gil-Ad Sha'er and Eyal Yifrah, in which he said Israel and history demanded revenge.

Perel said an emergency meeting of World Mazkirut Murchevet and its partner movements will be convened "in order to discuss this issue and to clarify the movement’s educational direction, which is a movement that calls for tolerance in every aspect of life." He concluded, "This meeting will deal with finding a way to fix what was broken and the errors that my words have caused."
