Shekel, Pound, US Dollar, Yen Up - Euro Down


The official value of the shekel rose an average of .307 percent, Friday, against most of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.419, down .146 percent, while the Euro fell .627 percent to 4.6454 shekels.

The pound sterling was set at 5.8627 shekels, down .094 percent, while 100 Japanese yen declined .301 percent to NIS 3.3508. The Canadian dollar was fixed at NIS 3.211, down .174 percent, while its Australian counterpart lost .374 percent to 3.1985 shekels and the South African rand was set at .3181 shekels, up .157 percent.
